We can remember when the Toyota Prius was announced, and the world watched to see how well this new car would do. Since then, numerous other car makers began following with their own electric cars, perhaps not even noticing Toyota was busy building the future.
The Mirai, which means 'future', is a truly revolutionary car. It runs on hydrogen and emits water, causing this to be completely harmless to the environment. While Japan is the only country which offers the Mirai, there are plans to increase availability and hopefully take the car worldwide. It's not only great for the environment, but it also has 153 horsepower capable of going from 0 to 60 in about 9 seconds.
