2018 Toyota Tundra TRD Sport Trim

The most exciting update to this tried-and-true vehicle is the new TRD Sport version. With tons of cool features to enhance its performance, exterior design, and interior amenities, you're sure to love it.

In terms of performance, Bilstein shock absorbers and front/rear anti-roll bars will tune up the handling.

When it comes to exterior design, the body color mirrors, body color bumpers, body color hood scoop, LED headlights, mesh grille, side TRD Sport decals, and 20-inch silver aluminum wheels will make it pop.

And, once you're inside, you'll enjoy amenities like a high-tech TRD shift knob and TRD Sport floor mats.

2018 Toyota Tundra: What Else to Expect

Of course, not everything about the Tundra is brand new. And why should it be? This Toyota pickup has been helping drivers do the tough jobs for decades. There are some things that work, end of story.

One of those things that works is the Tundra's 5.7L i-FORCE V8 engine, which delivers 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque. When you combine that with the 6-speed automatic transmission and a Tundra standard Tow package, you can tow up to 10,500 pounds. See? That's not something you should change.

You also shouldn't change its suite of available intelligent safety features, like the Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) or the Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA). Nor should you change Toyota's Star Safety System™, which includes Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRAC), Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), and Smart Stop Technology (SST).
