Performance
There are three powertrain options with the new Tundra, all of which use a 3.6-liter Twin-Turbo V6 as their basis. The first of these can produce up to 358 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque on the streets of Hightstown. On the other hand, you might prefer the fine-tuned version of this engine, which can provide you with up to 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque.
The final option is available on the top two trim levels. The i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain not only provides an incredible 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque, but it does so while providing a more fuel-efficient drive around Monroe than either of the other options. With this powertrain under your hood, you can expect to drive up to 19 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway.
Technology
You'll enjoy a responsive touchscreen infotainment system, whether it's the standard 8-inch option or the impressive 14-inch version. Both will provide Spotswood drivers with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration and SiriusXM® satellite radio. Every trim level offers navigation capabilities through Drive Connect, too.
Interior and Exterior
The Tundra isn't your typical truck, as you'll be hard pressed to be uncomfortable inside its cabin. It's easy to get a model with heated and ventilated front seats, and you can even get heated and ventilated rear seating for either the Double or CrewMax Cabs.
On the outside, you'll appreciate the bold look that the Tundra brings to Princeton. Plus, you'll appreciate the clear view that the standard LED headlights can provide you during night driving, and you can upgrade to a higher trim to enjoy premium LED headlights, LED Daytime Running Lamps and LED fog lights.
Trim Levels
The Tundra is available in seven different trim levels, offering East Windsor area shoppers a great selection to consider. Here's a look at some of each trim's highlights:
- SR: The Tundra SR is the most affordable option, but it still offers all the top-tier performance and capability that the Tundra is so well known for.
- SR5: The Tundra SR5 provides you with the fine-tuned 3.4-liter V6, as well as some added capability features like the Drive Mode Select system.
- Limited: The Tundra Limited upgrades your seating to use SofTex® trim and provides the front seats with heating, ventilation and eight-way power adjust.
- Platinum: The rear seats of the Tundra Platinum gain heating and ventilation, and this is the first trim level to come with the 12-speaker JBL® premium audio system standard.
- 1794 Edition: The 1794 Edition of the Tundra comes with unique 1794 Edition all-weather floor mats, as well as American walnut wood-grain trim in the cabin.
- TRD Pro: Four-wheel drive comes standard with the TRD Pro, and you'll also get Toyota's new i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain and TRD Pro off-road suspension.
- Capstone: Unsurprisingly, the Tundra Capstone caps off the lineup with premium elements like semi-aniline leather-trimmed seats, a 10-inch Head-Up Display and acoustic laminated windshield and side windows.
