The Toyota Prius takes 10.1 seconds to achieve 60 miles per hour and completes the quarter mile in 17.5 seconds. The Toyota Prius drives better than the Ford C-Max due to a slightly longer wheel base, extra bushings on the front suspension, and Anti-Pitch and Bounce Control. It senses up-and-down movements and uses the car's electric motor to balance them out.

Comfort

The Toyota Prius has greater rear head and legroom; back seat passengers will be able to stretch out better than in the Ford C-Max Hybrid. The improved front head and legroom will be a plus for taller drivers.

Cost

There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the cost of any vehicle. The Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) puts the Ford C-Max Hybrid as the more expensive car than the Toyota Prius. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is the same for both the Toyota Prius and the Ford C-Max.

Since the Ford C-Max Hybrid is a fair bit wider than the Toyota Prius, which will make parking the Toyota easier as this car has the smaller turning circle.

There is the same number of seats in both cars, and both can seat the same number of passengers.
