The cornerstone of Toyota's philosophy is ongoing improvement, both in the automotive and technological sector. With recent successes such as great sales, and even sending a small robot into space to test voice recognition functionality, we're pleased to share with you what's coming down the pike for the Japanese car manufacturer.
One of the most exciting upcoming releases is the next-generation Corolla, which has been teased at auto shows for most of the year. It's arrival in our showrooms is nearly upon us, and we're stoked beyond stoked. We also have the promise of a redesigned Camry to add to our excitement.
Further on down the line in 2015, we have the next-generation Prius to expect. Rumor has it the exterior design of the new car will borrow design cues from the NS4 Concept and come with a rehashed powertrain. The same year, we'll also be saying goodbye to the Yaris, which will be replaced with a Mazda2-based model, created by a partnership between the two companies.
On the SUV end of things, there's a rumor afoot that the RAV4 may be getting a new engine option--a 2.0L Turbo 4-cylinder, to be exact--and that we'll be seeing a few updates given to the Sequoia and Tacoma in the near future.
Hopefully we'll be getting more news on the specifics soon, but in the meantime, we invite you to keep tabs on the Dayton Toyota blog, where we post the latest news from our preferred automaker. If you're already fixing to get behind the wheel of one of these autos, swing down to our South Brunswick, NJ location so we can set you up with a test drive.
