To some, in particular those of us at Dayton Toyota, calling our preferred automaker one of the utmost green bands out there seems like a no-brainer. After all, how could you call the maker of cars like the Camry Hybrid, the Highlander Hybrid, and of course, the Prius anything less? Fortunately, we're not the only ones that think that way.
In the words of the Automobile Club of Southern California, Toyota isn't just a green brand. It's worthy of the top spot of their annual Green Car Guide, which ranks the most fuel-efficient vehicles. Each year, the club picks upwards of 80 cars boasting hybrid, electric, low-emission, and diesel powered cars.
Given the nature of the listing, it was possible for Toyota to get more than one model on the list. As a matter of fact, of the top ten, six of those spots are occupied by either Toyota, or its sibling bands, Scion and Lexus.
The models that got tops on the listing was none other than the RAV4 EV, with the Highlander Hybrid and Camry Hybrid taking spots three and four, respectively. We couldn't be prouder of Toyota for this achievement!
