Last month at Dayton Toyota we talked about how the Toyota Prius was leading the green movement. However, it's not just the Prius that is coming out on top. It was recently announced that for the fourth month running Toyota was the No.1 retail brand!
Here are a few numbers that have us excited.
In April Toyota dealers sold 199,660 new Toyota models. Compared to April of 2013 the selling rate increased by 9% and hopefully that upward trend will continue in 2015!
38,000 fan favorites, Toyota Camry's, were sold in April, which was an amazing 20 percent leap. The Toyota Corolla also saw an increase of 20% with 20,000 sold.
Moving on to some bigger vehicles, the Toyota RAV4 had its best-selling April yet and 19,000 found happy homes across the country. The hulking Toyota FJ Cruiser saw an explosion of sales for April, and we imagine that 1,593 people are planning a rugged summer!
