Hands of Hope Food Pantry in Edison, NJ, started as a limited clothes closet and food pantry/small kitchen with one goal with one goal in 1992: to serve the hungry in Middlesex County. Today, continue to help those in need by taking food and monetary donations that will be used to create more than 3,000 food bags to feed as many as 10,000 people in the area. They also provide hot lunches to about 5,000 people.

Elijah's Promise
In New Brunswick, NJ, Elijah's Promise works to eliminate hunger and better the lives of citizens in need throughout Central New Jersey. Considered a jack of all trades for those looking to get back on their feet, this community soup kitchen offers the Promise Culinary School. Here, people can enroll to learn the basic professional culinary techniques to find a job in the restaurant field.
Plus Elijah's Promise features Promise Catering, where culinary school graduates can put their skills to work to ensure a financially stable life. On top of that, they'll provide monetary assistance to those who need help to pay for the school's tuition.

SAVE, A Friend To Homeless Animals
SAVE, A Friend To Homeless Animals in an independent non-profit animal shelter in Skillman, NJ. They're a tried-and-true animal-loving organization dedicated to protecting the welfare and health of all animals in the Great Princeton area. They provide six programs: rescue, shelter, health and welfare, spay/neuter, adoption, and humane education, to ensure that our furry friends find the right home.
Volunteers for SAVE, A Friend To Homeless Animals walk dogs, help cats socialize, provide office help, and much more. You can also participate in the foster program, where you can give a temporary home to train and care for pets in need.
