After much anticipation, the spanking-new 2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid has finally arrived on-site here at Dayton Toyota. And for that, we couldn't be happier.

It seems like our enthusiasm is contagious, too, as the fine folks at Autotrader have evidently also caught the craze. Watch car critic, Brian Moody, practically flip his wig for this compact charmer in the clip below:

Comprised of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, a twosome of electric motors and one battery pack, the powertrain of the RAV4 Hybrid pushes out a healthy 194 horsepower. Gear shifts come courtesy of a continuously variable transmission.

Where this vehicle truly sets itself apart from most of its SUV-segment stablemates, however, is in the fuel efficiency department. Good for a glorious 33 mpg combined (34 city/31 highway), the RAV4 Hybrid is no doubt a breath of fresh air for this typically gas-guzzling class.

If you'd like to meet this magnificent machine "in the metal," or wish to put one through its paces on the open road, we encourage you to pay us a visit at our S. Brunswick, NJ location. Upon your stopover, we'll be sure to set you up with a test drive in the RAV4 Hybrid, or any other Toyota model that's ensnared your attention.
