Teen filmmakers have a chance to educate their peers about safe driving and avoiding dangerous driving conditions with the Teen Drive 365 Video Challenge.

Toyota and Discovery Education are working together for the sixth year to encourage teen filmmakers to submit 30-second PSA's about the becoming safer drivers and on how to avoid dangerous driving situations.

“This contest continues to encourage students, parents and teachers to have critical conversations about the importance of making smart choices behind the wheel,” said Mike Goss, general manager, Toyota Social Innovation. “Every year we are amazed by the variety of unique and inspiring videos we receive and look forward to seeing this year’s entries.”

The top prize is $15,000 and includes a chance to work with Discovery Education to produce a television-ready spot based on their winning submission. Second prize is $10,000, third prize is $2,500 and fourth through 10th place receive $2,500.

So get out your video cameras or phones and get to work. Your video could be worth a lot of cash and help someone learn to be a better driver. Videos must be submitted by Feb. 28 and more information can be found at TeenDrive365InSchool.com.
