Many years ago in 1969 Toyota came in to the pickup truck scene with the Hilux. A small truck with a 1.9-liter engine that produced 84 horsepower. Then in 1995 the Tacoma came off the production line, replacing the Hilux formally known as the Toyota Pickup in the United States, with a focus on ride quality and safety.

Then in 2017 Tacoma underwent a redesign and came out stronger than ever. With an optional 3.5-liter V6 that produces 278 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. The new Tacoma can pull up to 6,400 pounds.
With available TRD options the Tacoma becomes a beast of an off-road mid-size truck. Able to tackle all kinds of terrain the TRD version is as fun to drive off-road as it is on.
