Toyota trucks are rugged, reliable, and they come with more standard tech features than most brands. Our TRD models have incredible off-road capability. If you're wondering, "Which Toyota truck is best?" that depends on what you plan on using it for. Dayton Toyota has both the new Toyota Tundra and the new Toyota Tacoma for sale or lease near Monroe. We'll be happy to go over the features and utility of both trucks to help with your decision.
Work/Utility
Towing Capability
If you intend to pull large trailers or campers with your truck, the new Toyota Tundra is the obvious choice. People in Princeton will appreciate that the Toyota Tundra can tow up to 12,000 pounds when properly equipped. An available digital rearview mirror with an integrated camera display helps you see the object you're towing better.
When fitted with its available towing package, the new Toyota Tacoma has a maximum towing capacity of 6,800 pounds.
Payload Capacity
The new Toyota Tundra is available with an 8-foot, 1-inch bed; a 6-foot, 6-inch bed; or a 5-foot, 6-inch bed. East Windsor drivers who often carry heavy crates or equipment in the back of their truck will like that the Tunda can haul a payload of up to 1,940 pounds with the correct configuration.
The new Toyota Tacoma has a maximum payload capacity of 1,685 pounds.
Off-Roading
If you enjoy travelling on off-road trails near Spotswood, the new Toyota Tacoma TRD models have some of the best off-roading proficiency in their class. The Tacoma TRD Off-Road comes with an off-road-tuned suspension, a locking rear differential and Bilstein shocks. Tacoma TRD Pro trims come with four-wheel drive, a TRD-tuned suspension and exhaust, a front skid plate, and a multi-terrain monitor.
The new Toyota Tundra offers many off-road features that are similar to those of the Tacoma in its Tundra TRD Pro trim. However, the Tacoma's smaller size makes it the superior off-road truck.
Commuting
Maneuverability
If you use your truck to drive to work at your office in South Brunswick, get the new Toyota Tacoma. Its smaller dimensions and responsive steering make it great for your commute. The long-bed Tacoma is only 18 feet long.
The new Toyota Tundra measures between 19.5 and 21 feet long, so it's not quite as simple to park and maneuver as the Tacoma.
Fuel Economy
You'll make less stops at the fuel pump with the new Toyota Tacoma. Frugal Hightstown drivers will appreciate that Tacoma models with the four-cylinder engine return up to 20 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway.
The new Toyota Tundra only earns up to 18 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway with its most efficient setup.
Interior
Cab Comfort/Quality
The new Toyota Tundra has a modern, clean-cut cab that lets in minimal road or engine noise. People in Monroe who want the finer things in life will like the leather upholstery and genuine walnut wood trim on higher Tundra trims.
The new Toyota Tacoma has a solid build quality, but its blend of soft-touch surfaces and hard plastics is not quite as classy as the Tundra's materials.
Tech Features
You can easily access your smartphone apps while you drive the new Toyota Tundra around Princeton. Its Hey Toyota virtual assistant allows hands-free access to the infotainment system, so you can stay focused on driving. Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity are standard, as well.
The new Toyota Tacoma also comes with support for Apple Carplay and Android Auto, but the Hey Toyota virtual assistant is not available.
